Growing up in New Jersey, crafting became a cherished bonding experience for my mother and me. Her creativity fueled my own, leading me to pursue a career in music at the University of Massachusetts, where I earned a Bachelors in Music Education and Bassoon Performance. The call to serve led me to Marine Corps basic training, and after intensive training, I became a regional musician stationed in New Orleans, LA. Amidst my military journey, I attained diverse experiences, including certification as a black belt martial arts instructor.
Post-military, I pursued a civilian path briefly before the military beckoned again. Winning an audition for an Air Force Band position in San Antonio, I eagerly embraced the role. Leaving active duty in December 2022 to care for my son while my husband continued his service, I embarked on a new chapter.
In July 2020, my business journey began during the Air Force's uniform transition. Seeking ideas on repurposing uniforms in a Women Veterans’ Facebook group, I stumbled upon the concept of creating wreaths. With my crafty mother's guidance, the first prototype emerged, leading to the birth of a business. Since then, I've crafted over 2000 wreaths, each telling a unique story and honoring military service across all branches. As a veteran of two services, I deeply respect the significance of military service and am committed to upholding the highest standards of honor for your military story.
