Our mission is to support the U.S. Military community in establishing small businesses and side hustles to earn a living. This Buyer's Policy outlines our expectations and guidelines for individuals interested in purchasing products and services through our platform. 

1. Purchase Understanding: 

When you shop on Made By Military (MBM), it's essential to understand that you are not buying directly from MBM itself. Instead, you are making a purchase from one of our many talented sellers and vendors. MBM facilitates the platform but does not directly participate in the transaction. Therefore, it's crucial to comprehend the following: 

MBM Does Not Pre-Screen Items: MBM does not pre-screen or vet the items listed for sale on our platform. As a result, MBM does not endorse or guarantee any products, services, or content posted by sellers. This includes photographs, descriptions, language used in listings, or shop policies. 

Individual Seller Policies: Each seller on MBM has their own unique processing times, shipping methods, and shop policies. It is the buyer's responsibility to review and understand these policies before making a purchase. 

Custom Orders: If you choose to provide your materials for a custom order with a seller, you assume responsibility for ensuring the suitability of these materials and understanding any associated costs or requirements. 

2. Reporting Violations: 

As a buyer on our platform, you play a crucial role in helping maintain a safe and respectful marketplace. If you encounter any items, shops, or sellers that violate MBM's policies or guidelines, we encourage you to flag these instances. You can report violations related to the following: 

Inappropriate Content: Report any listings, shops, or sellers that contain offensive, inappropriate, or prohibited content. 

Misrepresentation: If you believe a product or service is misrepresented, falsely advertised, or not as described, please report it. 

Counterfeit or Unauthorized Items: Report any items that may infringe upon intellectual property rights or are unauthorized reproductions. 

Fraudulent Activity: If you suspect fraudulent activity or a seller not fulfilling their obligations, please bring it to our attention. 

3. Safe and Respectful Shopping: 

We are committed to maintaining a safe and respectful shopping environment on MBM. We expect all buyers to treat sellers, other buyers, and our platform with respect. Abusive or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. 

4. Dispute Resolution: 

In the event of a dispute with a seller, we encourage buyers to communicate directly with the seller to resolve the issue. If a resolution cannot be reached, MBM will offer support with regards to trying to reach a fair resolution by helping mediate disputes fairly and impartially. 

5. Transaction Fee: 

MBM charges a nominal transaction fee of $0.99 to the buyer for every transaction made on our platform. This fee is in addition to any applicable taxes or other fees the buyer may need to pay. But why are you being charged this fee, and where does it go? 

What does the Transaction Fee go towards and why are you being charged this fee? 

We charge the buyer a small transaction fee to help us operate and maintain the platform. Unlike many other marketplaces, we do not charge our military vendors a listing fee or a monthly fee to showcase and sell their products on our site. This is our way of supporting them in getting started and making money on our platform. Instead, we kindly ask each buyer to contribute a small fee to help us continue providing this valuable service to our military community. The fee will be in the form of the Shipping fee. We only Charge $.99 for our transaction fee, which will be added onto the shipping charge.  

By paying this transaction fee, you directly support the thriving of military entrepreneurs and help us sustain the marketplace for their benefit. We appreciate your understanding and encourage you to buy often, knowing that your contribution goes toward a worthy cause.

10. Leaving a Review of an Item:
